Hofburg Bressanone

The Hofburg (imperial palace) is well-worth a visit. Inside, the diocesan museum opens a different world to the visitors, and the nativity scene museum delights with fascinating art. A special gem is the pharmacy museum in the Via Ponte Aquila.

Tschumpus Bressanone

A cultural holiday behind bars: the Tschumpus is a very special location indeed. Bressanone’s former prison is original and famous for the theatrical and musical events that take place here.

Brixner Dom

The Cathedral is impressing from an artistic and historical point of view, but the true landmark of the town is the so-called White Tower. The cloister is of particular interest because of its frescoes. In between the two emblems, the old cemetery with its Plague Column is a reminder of darker times.
